Comfort & Joy invites you to the penultimate
queer New Year celebration in San Francisco:

Welcome to the Haus of Joy — where camp is couture, self-expression is sacred, and yes is always MORE!

This New Year’s Eve, Comfort & Joy invites you into our Afterglow, a technicolor celebration of queer creativity, chosen family, music and movement intertwined with a healthy dose of exuberant queer excess to set the tone for ‘27.

Wear the thing. Be the moment. Let’s dance into a queer New Year together.

The dress code?
Joyfully unhinged:

  • Sequins.

  • Leather.

  • Feathers.

  • Furry Fantasy.

  • Rainbows and dayglo.

  • Something you made at
    3 AM on a Monday.

  • Something you picked up
    at a drag clothing swap.

  • Something you know will have strangers stopping you on the dance floor.

This New Year, Comfort & Joy throws open the doors to the Haus of Joy — a celebration of queer imagination, radical self-expression, chosen family, and beautiful chaos.

Dress weird. Love loudly. Dance later than you should.

See you at Afterglow!

Community Accessibility: All are Welcome!

Our events are a discrimination-free zone. A zero tolerance policy for racism, sexism, ableism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other discrimination extends from the street through the courtyard and throughout the venue.

Restrooms are not segregated by assigned sex — choose the restroom that best aligns with your gender identity, gender expression, or general joie de nuit.

Consent & Communication

Need Help? Look for 'vibe-raters' with purple glow collars or house manager with pink collar.

Feeling Safe & Respected is our top priority.

Consent is key - always communicate and check before engaging physically.

Not Feeling It? A simple 'no thanks' is fine.
Remember – 'No' IS a complete response!

Respect 'No': If you hear 'no', please respect it graciously.

Ask, Don’t Assume: Always seek permission, not forgiveness, regarding consent.

Legendary cups of warm Miso, face + body painting, a DIY makeup counter, community-affirming fire pits, a plush space for cuddling plus leather and chains in the sling room, early morning fruit flights after a midnight balloon drop and so much more await @
